How to Create your First Builterra Account

FREE User

Upon registering for “FREE,” the user login (based on the email address and password) determines if the USER is associated with any named “Accounts.”  If users are NOT associated with any named Accounts, they are considered a FREE user with restricted access and functionality.


Adding more team members and adding Mobile or Tender capabilities is not available in a personal account. However, it is easy to convert a personal account to a paid account with access to these capabilities. If interested, contact the sales department on the last page of this document.


How to create a Builterra account

Once you select the "Create an Account” option, you may complete the Account Details section and add any additional Marketing information. You may also Manage your Network, share people and projects, and list Configurations and Users using the Account Option in the Portal Pulldown menu.

    1. Register a Builterra user profile

    2. Log into the Builterra web portal

    3. Click the Create Account button

    4. Fill out the account details

Note: You can edit the account details after the account is created at any time.



FREE users are allowed to:

Administrator

  • Full Account Administration functionality – creating Project Groups, Teams, Adding Users and Configuring Lookup Lists.
  • Full control over User Security and Permissions
  • Full Functionality and Editing permissions for every project or user
  • Full Partner Network function to partner with any FREE User (email address) or named Account holder

Project Administrator

  • Full Functionality to Create and Edit Projects, Add Images, Team Members
  • Full Admin to Configure Custom Project Details and any Lookup Lists related to Projects
  • Create, Edit and Configuration of Project Sheets, Lists and Maps
  • Ability to add other account users who can edit the project
  • Ability to set the “Share” option to expose Project to Partner Network

Editor

  • Ability to Edit Projects if granted permission by Admin or Project Admin to edit the project
  • Create, Edit and Configuration of Project Sheets, Lists and Maps
  • Create, Edit and Configuration of Team Sheets and Resume CVs
  • If Mobile Enabled, Full Mobile Data Collection and Editing of collected data
  • If Tender Enabled, Ability to Edit Existing Tenders 

Viewer

  • View and Download Access to all Portal Content – Maps, Team, Sheets, Inspections, Tenders
  • No Editing or Administration role
  • Access to Partner Network if allowed by Admin
  • Simple Cost Estimating if the Account has Tender privileges
